Robin Piccone

Robin Piccone is a contemporary swimwear brand that had outgrown WooCommerce. We moved them onto Shopify Plus and built a custom fulfillment integration that eliminated the manual order processing holding back their team.

The Brand

Swimwear that had scaled past its platform

Robin Piccone is a contemporary swimwear brand with a loyal following and a growing catalog. Their designs have built a real following, but the platform they were on was making growth harder to manage, not easier.

The Challenge

A WooCommerce setup that required people to do what software should

WooCommerce had no connection to the brand’s third-party warehouse, so every order touched human hands before it shipped - a setup that added cost, introduced errors, and slowed fulfillment. Inventory lived in two places that didn’t talk to each other, which meant stockouts and overselling were a regular occurrence. On top of that, routine site updates needed developer involvement, and the platform was already straining under the brand’s growing product catalog and order volume.

What We Did

Off WooCommerce, with the back office running on its own

We migrated Robin Piccone to Shopify Plus and built a direct integration between the storefront and their third-party warehouse. Orders now flow automatically from checkout to fulfillment without anyone in the middle - reducing errors and cutting processing time. Real-time inventory sync between the platform and warehouse closed the gap that was causing oversells and stockout surprises.

From there we wired in the tools the brand needed to run well: Avalara for automated tax compliance, Loop Returns for a self-service returns flow, ReferralCandy to activate word-of-mouth, and Klaviyo for targeted email marketing. The result is a stack the team can operate and scale without routing every change through a developer.

The Results

Fulfillment automated, inventory accurate, team independent

The shift off WooCommerce removed the manual steps that had been slowing the business down. With fulfillment and inventory running automatically, the team got back time and the brand got a platform that can actually keep pace with it.
